Call for sound proposals: INTER- #11 (5.1, quad, stereo, other) – deadline *Fri 9th Feb*.

INTER- is a quarterly spatial audio event event series presenting sound art and experimental studio production.

We support 5.1, quad, stereo and are open to other ways and means. Proposals of all kinds are welcome – across aesthetic, conceptual and technical boundaries.

These nights are about creating a focused, public listening context for experiments in recorded sound. We are particularly fascinated by the *in-between* spaces of present-day sound and listening – between actual and virtual auditory space, between sound production and reception.

We aim to support work and practices which might not fit easily into other live contexts. The intention is to make a space for drawing together practices across sound art, studio production, field-recording and live electronics, and for exploring and discussing spatial audio work made in Glasgow and across the world.

INTER- #11 takes place on **Tue 27th Feb 2018** at Stereo, Glasgow. The deadline for submissions is **Friday 9th Feb 2018**

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL:

Please send you proposal to Iain Findlay-Walsh at monostereomutations@gmail.com

with the email title ‘INTER 11 proposal’

by the closing date of *Friday 9th Feb 2018*

including the following:

– proposal info – 500 words max

– links to sound examples (streamable audio preferred – we prefer to avoid downloading complete works at the selection stage)

– tech requirements including file format – we provide an inhouse laptop for playback if required

– brief artist bio

due to the nature of the event (additional tech requirements and limited audiences) we are not able pay artists to show their work at this stage.
